About Me
I am a professional Italian freelance translator specialising in the translation of texts from English, French and German to Italian. With 9 years' experience, excellent writing skills and fine research abilities, I focus on providing quality texts with flair and precision, attentive to meeting client needs and deadlines.
With a background in Humanities and the Arts, I earned my BA in History with a specialization in Archaeology from the University of Bologna in 2007. This expertise directly informs my specialization in this translation field, among the others.
Originally from Italy, I have spent my life studying and traveling abroad since the age of 15 to enhance my linguistic and cultural skills. I relocated to London in 2013, where I am currently based.

Translation Tools
Technology can help translators deliver high quality content faster and optimising the result. Together with the last version of MS package, I work with the software SDL Trados Studio. Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools don’t replace human translation, but they are useful when you are looking for consistency and fast turnaround, which is what I can provide to you.

The confidentiality of your data and your documents is of the utmost importance to me.
I take every measure to protect and safeguard your data and I am compliant with the most recent European data protection legislation (General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

Transparent Rates
My rates are calculated on a per-word basis. Word count is based on the source word count. Where an electronic word count cannot be obtained, I charge per page. A flat fee is used for handwritten texts, scanned pages and retyping of projects.
The fees depends on several factors, mainly on:
- the length of the text
Any job requiring more than 2500 words of translatilon per day is considered rush and may be subject to 25% surcharge.
- the source language
- the complexity of the subject matter
- the designated date of delivery
Weekend jobs may incur a 25% surcharge.

Payment is due within 30 days of invoice, as per current European legislation, and should be made by bank transfer or PayPal.
